On the IPAC, if an item shows as "in", why can't I book it? If it is "out", does that mean it's out for the whole year?
When the status of an item is "in", it is referring to it's status on that particular day. It does not account for any bookings that are placed on it; so a booking may be declined because the item will be "out" during the dates chosen.
An item with a status of "out" does not mean it's booked for the year. Attempt to book it for a few weeks in the future. The system should show dates that are available.
